rhn_register sets the Base Software Channel to EUS instead of a normal RHEL version
Issue
rhn_register defaults to RHEL Extended Update Support. Changing the base software channel on by logging into Red Hat Network as described here is not practical.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- available entitlements for "Extended Update Support" in Red Hat Network (i.e. provided by Partner Evaluation Kit)
