NTLM authentication doesn't work with Apache httpd when KeepAlive is Off

Issue

  • We have web application which use NTLM authentication deployed in JBoss eap front end by Apache httpd, when we have KeepAlive set to Off, we get blank page in IE.Why?
  • We have recently upgraded our Apache webserver to JWS 3.0.3. Few of the applications fetches blank page after upgrade in IE browser.Why?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Web Server (JWS)
    • 3.0.x
  • Apache httpd 2.4.6
