Issues while setting NPIV | vHBA on KVM hypervisor
Issue
When you are trying to implement NPIV/vHBA, you experience following issues:
- "error invalid capability type" - command: nodedev-list --cap vports
- "error: Failed to define pool from ${filename}" - command: virsh pool-define
- "error: XML error: missing storage pool source adapter name" - command: virsh pool-define
- "error: Failed to attach device from ${filename}" - command: virsh attach-device
- "error: internal error unknown disk type 'volume'" - command : virsh attach-device
- "error: Failed to attach device from ${filename}" - command: virsh attach-device
- "error: invalid argument: target sd${n} already exists." - command: virsh attach-device
