Is it possible to automatically execute a task in CloudForms when changes are made manually in OpenStack provider

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Is it possible to execute a task in Cloudforms when a server or tenant is manually added, updated, or removed in OpenStack?
  • Some examples of this might include:

    • disk size, memory or CPU allocation is altered
    • new server or tenant is manually added
    • server or tenant is removed
  • A sample environment has some automation processes in CloudForms to create or remove servers or tenants. But sometimes there could still be manual changes in OpenStack as mentioned above. When CloudForms detects such changes, in addition to updating its VMDB, is there a way to execute a task or some scripts so that we can notify our platform(in our case ServiceNow) the changes?
