What does ESB Listener/Gateway MaxThreads do?

Issue

  • It has been observed if the request load and concurrency becomes higher the ESB service's performance could become bad. What steps can be taken to tune the performance ?
  • There is an ESB service with invmScope set to GLOBAL, and it has been seen that it is suffering from some performance issues. It seems like the calls to this service are serialized, i.e. single-threaded. Are there any settings to allow the service to run multiple instances or threads?
  • Currently, there is a problem that ESB service is blocked when ESB service is processing multiple/concurrent requests (some of the requests may cost much time). How to remove this bottleneck?
