The (kdump)second kernel does not boot in iSCSI environment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • kdump doesn't work even though the kdump target is supported (e.g. a server internal disk).
Specifying ibft as a boot parameter makes this problem happen due to the duplication of ip
    parameters in kdump 2nd kernel.
