Red Hat Satellite 6: bootstrap.py script is not able to set the release version.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Bootstrap script fails if I mention the --release flag.
  • Hitting the below error while running the bootstrap script.
https://satellite6.example.com/pulp/repos/Default_Organization/Dev/RHEL6u7/content/eus/rhel/server/6/6Server/x86_64/os/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 NOT FOUND"
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rhel-6-server-eus-rpms. Please verify its path and try again
