  • How to set rx-jumbo ring buffer on Intel ixgbe NIC?
  • The ethtool command shows and RX Jumbo setting for the network card receive buffer. I am using jumbo frames. Do I need to set this specific buffer to anything?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • Intel 10GbE network interface card using ixgbe driver
  • Jumbo frames (any MTU larger than 1500)
