Oracle RAC node rebooted due to 3rd party occsd.bin segfault in RHEL 4

Issue

  • /var/log/messages shows the node rebooted due to a ocssd.bin segfault:

Jan 22 03:13:53 node1 logger: Cluster Ready Services completed waiting on dependencies.
Jan 22 03:17:30 node1 kernel: klogd 1.4.1, log source = /proc/kmsg started.
