Why is Graphite PNG rendering not working for PCP+Grafana on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6?

Issue

  • Graphs are not displayed after changing to Graphite PNG (server side) rendering on RHEL 6 minimal install (without GUI packages).
  • Rendering issues with Graphite PNG. We are using the default-png.json when we change from flot to Graphite PNG rendering we can't see anything.
  • On PCP+Grafana page, if I change edit -> Display Styles -> Rendering -> Graphite PNG , graphs go blank.
