Slow startup of ActiveMQ SSL transport listeners

Issue

When starting JBoss A-MQ, the brokers SSL based transport connector take a long time to startup (up to a min).
Other non-SSL connectors start quickly.
E.g. see the following logging extract and check the time stamp of the events:

2016-07-05 11:17:32,898 [Main] INFO TransportConnector - Connector stomp started
2016-07-05 11:18:20,809 [Main] INFO TransportServerThreadSupport - Listening for connections at: stomp+ssl://localhost:60023
2016-07-05 11:18:20,809 [Main] INFO TransportConnector - Connector stomp+ssl started

  • SSL enabled broker transports
