frequent disconnections between qdrouterd on Satellite and Capsule
Issue
- katello agent tasks to systems registered to a capsule take suspiciously long time
- further checking revealed
qdrouterdinter-connection between Satellite and Capsule is very unstable - see Diagnostic Steps for details - DNS server configured for the Satellite or Capsule having some auxiliary issues in responding some queries
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.1 or higher
- Red Hat Capsule 6.1 or higher
- DNS server (of any type or version) resolving FQDNs and IP addresses of clients registered to a Capsule
