Issue

SSSD starts a lot of new processes and on reboot sssd halts the shutdown sequence.
Shutdown or reboot of server results in a hang or freeze at the "Stopping sssd:" output, requiring a manual power-cycling of the server.
sssd_be process runs many instances, using all memory.
Many zombie processes with sssd_be and several ldap_child process at 100%.
