JBoss EAP 5 Unattended installation failing

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Automated headless install fails for JBoss EAP 5
  • Automated installation for JBoss EAP 5 is failing.  Running the install via the GUI works fine
  • Unattended installation of JBoss EAP appears to be failing I did the following

C:UsersAdministratorDesktop>%JAVA_HOME%binjava -jar enterprise-installer-5.0.0.GA.jar

  • The installer generated an XML file InstallConfigRecord.xml.
  • A backup of InstallConfigRecord.xml was made and the EAP instance was uninstalled using the script provided.
  • When attempting to run the installer with the previously generated InstallConfigRecord.xml, it fails with the following

    -------------------------------
    C:UsersAdministratorDesktop>%JAVA_HOME%binjava -jar enterprise-installer-5.0.0.GA.jar InstallConfigRecord.xml
