Issue

CIFS mount hangs for 15 minutes after SMB Reconnect and Recover (called "Transparent Failover" but not full SMB3 Transparent Failover)
The Windows client does not even stop transferring a file when the file server cluster passes control between nodes. However, the Linux mount hangs for 15 minutes -- no ls, cd, cp, etc.
This happens every time the SMB Cluster node switches on the Windows 2012 file servers.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 (client)
Microsoft Windows 2012 (server)
CIFS mount
SMB Reconnect and Recover feature from SMB Transparent Failover on servers
