DV VDB fails to deploy with TEIID40073 error

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Deployed a VDB via the Management Console and it fails with below messages in the server.log:
10:38:24,366 WARN  [org.teiid.PLANNER.RESOLVER] (teiid-async-threads - 9) TEIID31080 BaseLayer.Table1 validation error: Group does not exist: Base2Layer.Table2
10:38:24,371 INFO  [org.teiid.RUNTIME] (teiid-async-threads - 9) TEIID40073 The metadata for the VDB EXAMPLE.1 is loaded, however it is not valid. Check models for errors. Correct the metadata and re-deploy.
10:38:24,372 INFO  [org.teiid.RUNTIME] (teiid-async-threads - 9) TEIID40003 VDB EXAMPLE.1 is set to FAILED
