IPv6 implementation in neutron does not assign all available addresses

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • IPv6 address allocation is following the IPv4 scenario and leaving the last address of a subnet unused. As IPv6 does not use the broadcast, one address is wasted.

Environment

  • Red Hat Openstack 6.0 (RHOS)
  • Red Hat Openstack 7.0 (RHOS)
