docker push to docker-distribution with S3 storage fails with the message "HTTP status: 500 Internal Server Error"
Issue
- docker-distribution configured to use Amazon S3 storage. docker push fails with the message "Not continuing with error: Received unexpected HTTP status: 500 Internal Server Error". docker-distribution logs has the following message
ERRO[0113] response completed with error err.code=unknown err.detail=InvalidPartOrder: The list of parts was not in ascending order.Parts list must specified in order by part number. status code: 400, request id: 7d1af1051090c02f72c0 err.message=unknown error go.version=go1.4.2 http.request.host=myresgistry.example.com:5000
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- docker-distribution 2.4.0-2.el7
- Amazon S3 storage as the backend for docker-distribution
