Error "/lib/iptables/libipt_statistic.so is missing from the iptables rpm " while adding rules. How to fix it?
Issue
While adding a rule containg statistic parameter the following error is logged due the statistics module for iptables cannot be found:
# /sbin/iptables -A INPUT -m statistic --mode random --prob=0.3 -j DROP
iptables v1.3.5: Couldn't load match `statistic':/lib64/iptables/libipt_statistic.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
