Detaching OpenStack volumes will result in udev processes in D-state

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

When detaching more than one volume in OpenStack, the detach operation might fail and you will see systemd-udevd in D-state:

   [root@server01 ~]# ps ax | grep D
      PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND
     2069 ? Ssl 0:00 /usr/sbin/gssproxy -D
     4279 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/sshd -D
     9576 ? D 0:00 /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-udevd
     9597 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto D
