Fail to import instackenv.json when pxe_ilo is an enabled driver in Red Hat OpenStack 8

Issue

  • ironic driver-list is empty during installation
  • pxe_ilo does not work
  • unable to import instackenv.json
[stack@rdirector ~]$ openstack baremetal import --json ~/instackenv.json
Request returned failure status.
No valid host was found. Reason: No conductor service registered which supports driver pxe_ilo. (HTTP 400)
