Fuse 6.2.1 -- Fabric8 container shows "CheckoutConflictException"

Issue

In a number of different circumstances, a Fabric8 container created by Fuse 6.2.1 can show an error message of the form

io.fabric8.api.FabricException: org.eclipse.jgit.api.errors.CheckoutConflictException: Checkout conflict with files:

There may, or may not, be a list of files following the message.

The problem can arise in a number of different situations, but is generally associated with a synchronization of registry data across the Fabric8 cluster. More than one container might be affected, and these containers may, or many not, start correctly.

This problem has only been observed on Fuse 6.2.1 GA, but Red Hat cannot be certain that other versions are unaffected.
