Why is the IPv6 virtual IP address not being removed when disabling the cluster service?

Issue

When using a IPv6 virtual IP in Red Hat Cluster Suite the IP is being correct assigned to the interface when enabling the service. When the service is being disables, the vIP is not being removed from the interface.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8

  • rgmanager-2.0.52-28.el5_8.3

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4
