Issue

[5.4] The snmpd reports error messages every 15 seconds on the system mounting an InfiniBand.
It looks like the error message was due to IB devices which has a hardware address longer than snmpd can parse.
error message:

snmpd[PID]: ioctl 35123 returned -1
snmpd[PID]: couldn't find ifIndex for '*', skipping

kernel-2.6.18-164.6.1.el5
net-snmp-5.3.2.2-7.el5_4
x86_64(possibly all archs)
