SSL Connection from JBOSS EAP 6.4 to backend Cloudforms 3.2 not working

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • SSL Connection from JBoss EAP 6.4 to backend Cloudforms 3.2 not working.
  • We are sending a payload to JBoss EAP 6.4 application on port 18080 to JBOSS App Server. We see in application logs that the request hit the Java application on the server. However, the Java application internally connects to Cloudforms 3.x (using cloudform certificate). We are not seeing any traffic between cloudforms and jboss eap. We suspect the java application is unable to communicate with cloudforms using the certificate in JBoss truststore.
  • Can you please advice what configuration needs to be done so the java application on jboss server is able to talk to cloudforms 3.x and get response from cloudforms ?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 6.x
