Is the Kubernetes DaemonSet feature available in OpenShift?

Issue

There is a DaemonSet feature in Kubernetes, but it does not appear to be enabled in OpenShift. We can get the Kubernetes api objects but that object is not functional. Is this a feature we can enable in OpenShift 3.1?
