Logs do not rotate, "/var/log/messages" grows in size
Issue
- Logs do not rotate properly, the most recent file grows with further entries:
# ll -h | grep messages
-rw-------. 1 root root 724M Mar 24 11:43 messages
-rw-------. 1 root root 2.5G Mar 16 09:35 messages.0316
-rw-------. 1 root root 292M Jun 14 2015 messages.9
