AD authentication breaks after Badlock update with error "ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed" in logs
Issue
- Customer's krb5.conf file had the realm and domain_realms section missing.
- Multiple domains exist in the environment but nested groups option was not enabled in smb.conf
- keytab from the previous join not allowing the machine to be rejoined to the domain
