How can I configure timeout for ldap authentication when ldap server is not reachable in RHEL5?
Issue
- I am working on LDAP client system.
- There are some programs which look for authentication information while running them.
- LDAP server on the network is sometimes not reachable and it causes the programs dependent on authentication to run with delay.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- nss_ldap
- System configured as LDAP client
