Server drops to maintenance mode and e2fsck reports Error reading block xx (Attempt to read block from filesystem resulted in short read) while getting next inode from scan.
Issue
- /dev/vg_root/lv_root unexpected inconsistency. Run Fsck manually. Can't reboot the server due to these.
- Tried running fsck manually in single user mode.
- We get a Buffer I/O error on device dm-2 logical block 3145731.
