Why Hosted engine failover is not working when the underlying hypervisor goes down

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Hypervisor where the hosted engine VM is running goes down. However the hosted engine VM doesn't failover automatically to the next host.
  • ISO domain is configured within the hosted engine VM.
  • From the agent log, we can see that it's stuck in below process.
