Why error "open (/var/lib/nfs/statd/state): Permission denied" displayed when starting nfslock service ?
Issue
- When starting the nfslock service, it failed with the following error in /var/log/messages:
# grep nfs /var/log/messages
Dec 16 23:02:19 hostname rpc.statd[30388]: open(/var/lib/nfs/statd/state): Permission denied
Dec 16 23:02:19 hostname nfslock: rpc.statd startup failed
