Is it possible to have two different print queue names that send jobs to a single printer with a single IP address?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • Is it possible to have two different printer names in the PostScript Driver that have the same IP address and obviously the same printer model? For example if printer name HP28 has as IP address of 10.1.2.3 and a printer model of HP LaserJet 4250n, can there be an additional printer name called HP28_01 that has the same IP address (10.1.2.3)?

The reason for this is because is that within Oracle, you can only have one Label Type print at one printer, you cannot have multiple Label Types.
If we add an additional printer with the same IP address this may remedy that situation.
