dlm_recvd using over 90% of CPU on cluster node with GFS1 filesystem
Issue
- dlm_recvd is using the vast majority of the CPU on a cluster node
- Node was running quite poorly in this state and required manual shutdown
- Manual shutdown hung / took too long and was fenced
Environment
- Red Hat Cluster Suite 4+ and Red Hat GFS 6.1
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with Resilient Storage Add Ons)
- Red Hat Cluster Suite cluster with 2 or more nodes
- Global File System(GFS1)
