Why hosted-engine deploy process for additional host fails with SSL error when using custom Apache Certificate

Issue

  • hosted-engine --deploy fails with below error.
[ ERROR ] Failed to execute stage 'Closing up': [ERROR]::RHEV API connection failure, (60, "Peer's certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user.")
  • Custom Apache certificate has been installed by following the Link . After that it's no longer able to add additional hosts in the hosted-engine environment.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.6
