AIX client fails to mount from RHEL NFS server with error 'Operation not permitted'
Issue
AIX client is trying to mount NFS export from an RHEL Linux box. While trying to mount, it gets the following error:
vmount: operation not permitted
Environment
- RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x - NFS Server
- IBM AIX 4.x - NFS Client
- IBM AIX 5.x - NFS Client
