What does the cups error "[cups-deviced] PID <> (dnssd) stopped with status 1!" mean?
Issue
We are getting the following error messages in /var/log/cups/error_log:
E [29/Sep/2012:19:42:16 -0700] [CGI] Unable to create avahi client: Resource temporarily unavailable
E [29/Sep/2012:19:42:16 -0700] [cups-deviced] PID 26582 (dnssd) stopped with status 1!
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 & 6
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.3.7 & 1.4.2
