  • Dell PowerEdge R720 will not boot from SAN after install of RHEL 5.8 or 6.x. Error during boot is "No boot device available". Install completes normally with no errors or warnings.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.8 and 6.x
  • Dell PowerEdge R720
  • Emulex HBA Lpe12000-E
