  • NFS client workstations freeze occasionally. The machines then log the following error:

lockd: server x.x.x.x not responding, timed out

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 (NFS client)
  • kernel 2.6.18-92.1.1.el5PAE
  • kernel 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5
