Issue

  • I get the following error when collecting a full log-collector for RHEV 2.2 - "The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding"
during the log-collector he got the following error:
"BACKUP DATABASE [rhevm] TO  DISK = N'C:\Temp\LOG_2012_09_24_12_36_59\rhevm.bak' WITH NOFORMAT, NOINIT,  NAME = N'rhevm-Full Database Backup', SKIP, NOREWIND, NOUNLOAD,  STATS = 10
ERROR: backing up database - 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager 2.2
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager log-collector
