Man pages not correctly displaying the bold text

Issue

  • Manual pages are not correctly displayed in the terminal while they looks like to be correctly formatted.
  • If fired command man ls then refer below :
LS(1)                                                User Commands                                               LS(1)

       ls - list directory contents

       [OPTION]... [FILE]...

       List  information  about  the FILEs (the current directory by default).  
      Sort entries alphabetically if none of        nor  is specified.
  • But when man ls|more then correct output is seen like the following :
LS(1)                             User Commands                            LS(1)

       ls - list directory contents

SYNOPSIS
       ls [OPTION]... [FILE]...

DESCRIPTION
       List  information  about  the  FILEs  (the current directory by default).
       Sort entries alphabetically if none of -cftuvSUX nor --sort is specified.

  • The question is, how should I reconfigure my system to see the correct output by using just man ls command?
