Apache httpd start operation timed out error

Issue

  • We are unable to start httpd service, its failing with below error.

    Jan 27 02:49:29 apache systemd[1]: Starting The Apache HTTP Server...
Jan 27 02:59:29 apache systemd[1]: httpd.service start operation timed out. Terminating.
Jan 27 03:00:59 apache systemd[1]: httpd.service stop-sigterm timed out. Killing.
Jan 27 03:00:59 apache systemd[1]: httpd.service: main process exited, code=killed, status=9/KILL
Jan 27 03:00:59 apache systemd[1]: Failed to start The Apache HTTP Server.
Jan 27 03:00:59 apache systemd[1]: Unit httpd.service entered failed state.
Jan 27 03:00:59 apache systemd[1]: httpd.service failed.
