Issue

  • Why does pcs resource cleanup fail?
  • Cleaning up pacemaker resource fails with the following error: Error signing on to the CIB service: Transport endpoint is not connected
[heat-admin@overcloud-controller-0 ~]$ pcs resource cleanup rabbitmq-clone
Error: Unable to cleanup resource: rabbitmq-clone
Error signing on to the CIB service: Transport endpoint is not connected
  • pcs status shows no cluster running on this node
[heat-admin@overcloud-controller-1 ~]$ pcs status
Error: cluster is not currently running on this node
  • pcs commands return unable to get cib.
[heat-admin@overcloud-controller-1 ~]$ pcs resource cleanup neutron-dhcp-agent
Error: unable to get cib
Error: unable to get cib
