System hangs at boot with error 'beiscsi_dev_probe-Failed to beiscsi_init_irqs'

Issue

  • After installing the kernel 2.6.18-406.el5, system is failing to boot and shows following error messages on console. The same issue is not observed while booting up using old kernel 2.6.18-308.24.1.el5:

    GSI 32 sharing vector 0xC1 and IRQ 32
