Why does 'ls -l' show a dot (.) at the end on the file modes for some files?
Issue
- Why does 'ls -l' show a dot (.) at the end on the file authority message for some files? For example,
# ls -l
-rw-------. 1 root root 1609 Jan 30 21:50 anaconda-ks.cfg
-rw-------. 1 root root 1702 Jan 30 21:53 initial-setup-ks.cfg
