  • How to generate kerberos ticket based on principal present in /etc/krb5.keytab without passing it to kinit command ?
  • If server hostname is myhost.mydomain then how to generate Kerberos ticket using different principal and kinit command without passing the principal?
  • kinit command is throwing following error.
# kinit -V -k -t /etc/krb5.keytab
Using default cache: /tmp/krb5cc_0
Using principal: host/myhost.mydomain@EXAMPLE
Using keytab: /etc/krb5.keytab
kinit: Keytab contains no suitable keys for host/myhost.mydomain@EXAMPLE while getting initial credentials
