Alter SQL transformation in VDB at runtime without redeployment

Issue

  • We are currently migrating view implementation from MS SQL Server to JDV. We would like the ability to change the SQL transformation of a View on JDV at runtime without redeployment of VDB. Just like we can do ALTER VIEW on MS SQL Server.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.4.3
  • JBoss Data Virtualization(JDV) 6.2.1
  • Security patch CVE-2015-7501
