Hosted engine setup tool does not detect failures during ovirtmgmt management network configuration

Issue

When deploying hosted engine. The deployment process gets stuck on:

VDSM host in non_operational state
         Retry checking host status or ignore this and continue (Retry, Ignore)[Retry]? 
         The host hosted-engine01 is in non-operational state.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.6
  • Hosted-engine
