Why does messages similar to "WARNING: IP: Hardware address '<MAC-ADDRESS>' trying to be our address 010.089.030.006!" gets logged in /var/log/messages ?

Issue

• The following message gets logged in /var/log/messages every half an hour, why ?

kern.warning hardware address <MAC-ADDRESS> trying to be our address 010.089.030.006!

• The mac address is of eth2 and the IP address is of bond0 created using eth1 and eth2.
