systemd in RHEL7 unmounted filesystem on multipath device when some paths lost
Issue
-
systemd in RHEL7 unmounted a filesystem when a multipath device lost some of its paths.
-
If all paths of multipath device failed, systemd unmounts the filesystem on that device.
-
During storage controller reboot testing, half the paths to a multipath-backed filesystem mount are being added and removed, systemd attempts to unmount the filesystem, even though there are remaining active paths.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
